The Moonshine Vineyard, located on Laughlin Road in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley, is a high-density, hand-farmed site managed in collaboration with the Martinelli family. Originally planted with 8-foot row spacing, Matt helped us to facilitate this vineyard to be inter-planted in 2011 to create 4-foot rows, enhancing vine density and complexity of our lots. The vineyard features Huichicha clay loam soils with cobblestones, which contribute to the unique character of the fruit. Its low-yielding vines produce highly concentrated grapes, ideal for crafting premium wines. The vineyard’s sustainable farming practices and meticulous care ensure exceptional quality harvests year after year.
